Default 2000 rx300

my dashboard brake light is on and there is an intermittent bell...fluid is ok and brakes work fine..any thoughts?

Try applying the auxiliary [parking] brake fully and release it without anything in the way to let the pedal come up.

It is your brake fluid sensor. Try removing the brake fluid cap from the reservoir, lightly shake it to jiggle the float and then reattach it. That stopped mine from chiming since it happened a few months ago. At worst you will have to replace the cap if it doesn't stop chiming.
