I've got an issue. The LCD above the radio went blank. Radio no longer turns on. Antenna no longer extends. Interior dome lights - front, rear passenger, and trunk - don't work. Sunroof doesn't open. Home Link no longer works. Everything else I tested functions.
Checked fuses in both boxes. No issues found. Disconnected battery for 45 minutes, no change - same issues present.
No work recently performed on vehicle, no funny behavior noted prior to issue occurring, everything on vehicle - and I mean everything - was working as designed.
First thing I would do is disconnect anything that doesn't work, like the dome light, and test for power and ground. No power, then something wrong with a wire that delivers power. No ground, then check where the wires ground to. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a dirty ground.
I've seen a "fusible link" on some American cars, sort of like a master fuse for multiple already-fused circuits. Doe the RX have anything like that? Other members on here will be more knowledgeable about that than I am. It certainly sounds like a fuse-type issue or like something is disconnected.
Once I pulled the wiring diagrams down ( www.revbase.com/BBBMOTOR/Wd (thanks hypervish) ) and started looking them over, the common thread was a single fuse for the dome lights. Even the radio ran some functions thru that fuse. So, I pulled it and sure enough, cooked. I don't have replacement fuses that size on hand, so will get new fuse(s) tomorrow and confirm solution.
