Mystery part dropped from under my RX300
2000 Lexus RX300 AWD. A part dropped out from underneath the body onto my driveway. It reminds me of a mount of some type, but is is a 2 inch diam solid metal cylinder attached to a bracket by a short rubber stalk. The bracket was rusted & broke off. I cannot see where it came from.

Mystery solved. It attaches to the exhaust system. A post in another thread in this forum called it a harmonic balancer, designed to remove the drone sound from the exhaust. Thanks to that thread.

Minor clarification:
It has nothing to do with the note and has to do with mechanical vibration of the exhaust.
