remove front small triangle and rear quarter panel fixed glass
I tried removing the front small triangle fixed glass by the dash on a RX300 that I am parting out by following the instructions on the OEM body manual. I started by cutting the moulding at corners/vertices of the triangle and mid-way on the legs. Next step is to separate the moulding by like filleting it off the glass then using a piano wire to separate the glass from the body.
Has anyone tried this? I started doing it and it seems like its going to take a lot of time and its not worth it. That rubber moulding and sealant is heavy duty stuff.
Any suggestions to make the task easier? I want to do this for both fronts and rears (not on the door but on the quarter panel).
Thanks!
