what type of hitch do we have on the 2001 RX300?
I'm shopping for a hitch bike rack for my '01 RX300.
I can't tell what type of hitch I have. If I hold up a tape measure to the receiver, it is more than 2 inches across (on the inside faces from one side to the other) so that doesn't make sense to me in discovering whether or not it is a 1.25" or 2" So basically, I have no clue what I'm doing.
What I need to know in order to shop for a Thule hitch bike rack is my receiver size and the receiver class. I can't tell what my rx300 has, there are no markings on the unit. I was originally under the assumption that it is OEM. Maybe it's not??
Can anyone help me?
I'm shopping on the Thule website:

Visit local U-Haul and get the info you like. Slip the guy couple of $s for his time.

I don't think an RX300 is big enough for class IV towing.
Mine is this class III "Reese Towpower 44076 Class III Custom-Fit Hitch with 2" Square Receiver opening" which is custom fit for 1999 RX300. Inside width is 2 1/8 inches
