I was driving on the highway, everything was fine and suddenly car RPM gauge goes to 0. Pulled to shoulder and car stopped. Now it cranks but no start. I have already replaced the following on the car:
Radiator/Cap
Fuel Pump
Battery
Timing Belt
PCV Valve
Intake Gaskets
ECU
Canister Purge Valve
Cleaned Oil Control Valves and Idle Air Control Valve
Relays/fuses working
Compression test showed 149 pounds
Mechanic does not believe its a head gasket as there was no water in my oil and no smoke from exhaust

I'm at a loss with this vehicle. Need ideas... Anyone else seen this problem that could point me in a direction and I can't get mechanic to look at it for another 5 days. Please help!!!!

My electrical diagnostic just a few weeks ago showed that was fine.

You have spark? Can you verify you're getting fuel? You said you have good compression, so there's only a few things that could be wrong.

There are a number of threads that discuss this exact problem, so feel free to search. You may find an answer..

I have spark, I have fuel to fuel rail. I can't figure out why all of a sudden it would lose RPMs while driving.
