Hi All
I have recently bought a RX300 registered 2003 and is the new shape
Can my car be a 1st gen new shape? is there such a thing? Looking on the forums here 1st gens go to 2003 then its the RX330?

The RX300 ran from 1999-2003 1st generation
RX330 2004-2007 second generation
RX350 2008 was still second generation shape with newer engine.

In some countries, the 2nd generation body style was offered with the 1MZ-FE and I believe a 5 speed auto as a 2003 model year. It was very rare. I believe the model was called RX300SE.

Actually 1999 - 2000 and 2001 - 2003 looked a little different as the latter years had different looking lights, grill and trim pieces.

1999-2003 are all first generations. Lights, grills, trim are all minor changes.

Engines in different countries were not all the same. In the US, the 2004 RX330 was released in ~Sept 2003 with a 3.3L engine. So if the 2nd gen RX had a 3.0 engine in the UK and new models are released in the fall, you may have a 2nd gen RX registered in 2003(?)
