Forum members- Be more supportive!
Been on many car forums over the years....I love CL but it seems that so many good or helpful threads hardly get any replies!
Even if 100 people read the thread you may see only 1 reply- WTH?
People spend alot of time to help you (taking photos, etc....) and see no responses.
You could at least add a comment- good or bad.

If you have a question and no one is answering, could be because they have no expertise or experience with that problem. Giving a wrong answer is worse than none.
Or simply because one does not have anything constructive to add. So instead of polluting the thread with useless posts and making it harder to find useful info, they choose to keep quiet.

Boypony, if you check the bottom of the main forum page at any given time, the number of guests far exceeds members. That accounts for the majority of the view count. Josh hit on some good points. I'd add lack of information/poor title attributes to the lack of responses. There's also a good chance the topic has been covered especially the older the vehicle is. Apathy is not to blame.
