Smile CR2-12V replacement

I purchased 2 of these from ebay and fixed my passenger and driver side windows. They have been working great for the past 10 days. Here is the link:

This relay is now available from Amazon for $31.00

Bob,
The pinout is exactly the same as original relay. The properties of the relay used in replacement is almost identical.

Thanks
Lexmus,
This part is 100% compatible with CR2-12V and has much better quality and cheaper. It is designed on a printed circuit board and tested for automotive automotive use.

Salim,
This guy (Alex2324) advertises for his product all over the place. He has advertisements in almost all youtube video clips for repairing RX300 window. It looks like he is the owner of the product sold on Ebay.

Thank you Tarwebok7, you saved me countless hours chasing this problem that started with the passenger door and then affected the drivers as well. You rock!

This is an old and inactive thread, probably because most RX300 owners are no longer. However, FWIW, I put together a diagram for replacing the CR2-12V in the power window circuit with currently available ACJ2112 for those who have the desoldering/soldering chops. After you remove the failing CR2-12V relay, you will have room on the component side of the board to affix a ACJ2112 with the component leads facing up. Double-sided sticky tape will work. If you orient the relay as shown in the diagram, you will have direct wiring paths from the relay pins to the component lands on the circuit board. If you use this diagram, please make sure you double check the wiring. Note the innermost 2 pins are tied together to a common wire. I have not wired in the ACJ2112 as I just replaced a failing relay on the passenger door with one of those replacements that combine a special circuit board and relay. However, as soon as my order of ACJ2112s arrive, I will be pulling all the window/lock control modules and replacing the CR2-12Vs as a preemptive measure.

Still keeping our rx300 running....

Good to know. Thanks.
I have some failed old window controllers on the side so may do this for fun and see if I can create some "backups" for cheap myself.
