Default ?s re: Nakamichi sound system

I'm in the market for a 2002-03 Gen1 RX300 and was disappointed to learn that the Nakamichi sound system was not available after 2001. Anyone know why? Anyone ever in a position to compare it to the standard system? I've been very happy with the Nakamichi in my 1999.

My 2002 rx300 has the premium sound system (pioneer system) with the navigation system and it sounds really good, trust me you don't want to mess with the Nakamichi system when they blow, they have a more complex system, the speakers have individual amps along with drivers, in other words if the system ever gets old and the speakers rubber dry rots and you want to install some nice speakers it will be more difficult.

My one is the same.
To be honest, it sounds great for a car, and I do not feel the need of something else.

Unless you want to drive a disco
