Anybody have suggestions for gold license plate frames which discolor/rust after they have been through a winter(ie. salt/sand exposure)? Metal polishes seem to strip the gold off. Where can I purchase a new frame - the dealer doesn't seem to sell any and doesn't know where to purchase. Thanks for any suggestions.

Mine look pretty bad too.You could buy some clear sealant and paint over the license plate holder when its clean/new. ok... i made that up sounds good though right??

The dealer really doenst know where to get them?

I guess its up the the individual dealer then because my dealer in Houston Texas gave me a few replacements after various incidents all free of charge.

I have my car in MA now and all the dealers Ive been to here display them as accesories to buy in their parts department.

Try some other dealers around there are if there are any or... maybe you could call a dealer in another state and buy it from them and have them mail it to you???
