The motor sounds like is going to die and in the road it drives fine out if nothing you start stalling. The mechanic said that the front 3 cylinders were not working right. Any body had the same issue?

It could be anything, the idle air control valve is know for rough idle and the car trying to die, also it could be your MAF sensor, possibly even the ignition coils going bad and causing misfires, o2 sensors play a role in that too, could be just as simple as changing the spark plugs (3 in the rear are a PITA!) But we really can't help you we need more information on the car, please provide the year of the vehicle, mileage, and if it has a engine light on, if there is you can get the car scanned at AutoZone for free and provide the codes that would help bunches! I ended up changing the VVT Solenoid and the coils and now it drives fine. Thank for the help
