2002 RX300. CEL and VSC lights on for over a year. Car chugs intermittently and gets horrible gas mileage. I had the O2 sensor replaced two times, and had 3 different mechanics look at the car (including the dealer). No one can figure it out. After reading this forum, I checked the vacuum hose and it was in fact disconnected. I reconnected the vacuum hose and disconnected the battery cable to clear the code. While the car seems to run better, the lights came back on almost immediately. I'm afraid it's just a matter of time before it starts chugging intermittently again. Any ideas?
