RX300 Front Driver side door stuck closed
I went through the actuator replacement thread on Sunday and something isn't quite right. I cannot unlock or open my door now. When I use the unlock button on the wood panel, I hear a loud buzz instead of it unlocking. Though, the door button indicates that it is in the unlocked position, but it cannot really be moved manually. Trying to unlock the door with the key resists and doesn't unlock.. Pulling the door handles seems to move the mechanisms, so I am thinking it is just stuck locked somehow.
Today, I just went through the passenger side to get in and out of my car, but would like to try and fix this. The first thing I need is to get the door open again. Any idea how I can do that?
My original post was on this thread, but it seemed a more general issue than just the actuator replacement. Read more: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...#ixzz3BRhAVV69

The only logical next step is to open up the lock assembly and examine it. Lock is engaged by Two which are mechanical and one is electrical. The key based mechanical is also electronically reinforced. So if the electronic reinforcement preventing you from unlocking, you can disconnect the battery and then use the key to unlock.
Our collective advice has been to leave the door panel unattached till you verify the lock and door release is working properly.
