I have a '99 RX in which my rear window defroster quit working. I checked the fuse and it was OK but am asking about other things to check before replacing.

Make sure the connections are intact on the rear window grid on the glass and that the metal layer isn't scratched through somewhere, breaking the circuit

Perhaps the relay is not relaying?

Thanks. I took a quick glance at it and nothing stood out when I was checking the fuse but I'll look a little more closely when it gets back here.
