Question Please Help URGENT----P0330 Error Code Come while driving on the Highway

Hi Everyone,

I have been dealing with this issue for more than two years and i took my car to several mechanics spent around 3000$ but issue is not resolved.
I have replaced the knock sensor twice with brand new knock sensors and when i take my car on the hig way my engine light come on with p0330 and p0325 code .

It drives OK in the city with 60-80 km/hr but on the highways as soon as i go over 120 km/ hr for 5 min engine light comes on and its drinking GAS like a Whale .

PLEASE HELP ...MECHANICS ARE RIPPING ME OFF but not fixing the issue.

Well its strange That a knock sensor would die that quick the first thing I would recommend is to see what brand of knock sensor was put in. If your mechanic bought Chinese made sensors for 30$ I can tell you that's the problem it has to be 100% oem Japanese denso or toyota for these critical engine parts and Low end parts won't cut it also if you want to just "trick" the engine into thinking that the sensor is working you can also do that as well good luck and best regards!

Could be your iACV it's probably shot....Also you may want to pull a spark plug and look at the condition it's in also go to the auto parts store and buy a bottle of chevrons gas treatment it's good for 12 gallons but I usually fill my tank half way and put a entire bottle in, cost about 5$ and I would usually try to drive it "aaggressively" till I run the tank out and see if anything improves.

This It's a plug and play replacement part that should always be done with the sensors.

How a Air bag impact Sensor would be the cause of knock sensor to go off . That doesn't make sense.

You have two codes pointing to both knock sensors. For some reason we are also talking about the IACV (Idle Air Control Valve), this controls the car's idle when the throttle is shut. No one has said anything about air bag impact sensors until your post above??

You probably need to have both sensors replaced with OE parts if aftermarket parts were installed and/or have the knock sensor wiring harness replaced at the same time.

I replaced both knock sensors and wiring harness recently.

Occasionally I am getting a bank 2 knock sensor code. Happened to me twice over the weekend under load. I find if I use premium gas it doesn't happen. Previously I always used regular,

I don't know what is causing it. Plugs are new too.
