Steering Wheel Squeaks
Hi All,
I haven't been by for a while. So I thought I'd ask you all a question I've been wondering about.
Has anybody else had their steering wheel squeek? When I'm backing out of the garage, then turning and starting my drive, I hear this squeaking.
My first thought is just to spray some WD40 in there and wipe up the excess. But I thought before I go spraying stuff ***** nilly, I'd ask the question.

I mentioned this on the MB a little while ago, I have a 99 with 42K miles and I get the creaking noise all the time now I had it in at the dealer and they sprayed something on the seal by the steering column and it lasted for about a week. I guess now I have to make a point of taking it back and attempting to get them to fix permanently. I will post with followup.
