Default high temperature on the screen

just notice that my temperature on the LCD screen will always like more than 10 degree higher than regular temperature when I drive the car. Does anyone know what it might be the problem?

As I know of there is no way to calibrate the display. The temperature sensor also gives wrong reading based on how hot the road surface is, while the temperature is supposed to be the "in shade" temperature.

Just use it as a guide and it is NOT in pursuit of perfection.

thanks for your quick response. it begins about one week ago. before that, it shows normal temperature. I just changed my coolant today by following the guide in this forum. still have the same problem.

where is the temperature sensor located? is it possible that we need to change the sensor? or something around sensor becomes hotter than usual?

You will see the sensor down near the front of the radiator. I believe it's clipped into on the radiator fins.
