Default VSC issue

Hoping someone can give me some ideas....here is the problem:

I have been driving my rx300 for awhile with both the VSC and CEL on....car has been running great.....(130K miles) ...I recently replaced the battery.....and the warning lights went out.....i was told I need to record some 75 to 150 miles to allow the computer to reset......with the warning lights out I noticed a slipping sound when I first accelerate and the little anti slid light would blink.....just for a second or two... sounded like the front drivers side...now that I have 100 miles recorded and the VSC and CEL back on I no longer have the slipping feeling and the anti slip light does not come on....car seems fine.

What would cause this problem?....at first I was afraid it was a transmission issue.....I have read that many owners somehow disconnect the VSC system.....Is that a option that makes sense.....or do I need to spend Big bucks at Lexus

Thanks in advance to all that respond

Did you ever get the trouble code pulled? That will give you a starting place. It could be something as simple as dirty wheel speed sensors. Start reading here...

There is a little hose behind the engine air filter box. It is down low and hard to see. If you park in a garage you may need a flash light. Check that. It gets disconnected when changing the air filter some times. If it is off reconnect and reset the ecm by disconnecting the battery from the car.

The hose is between the firewall and the air filter box. The hose connects to the little sensor that is in the top of the air filter box. If you cant find it I will take a pic when my wife gets home. I had this problem on 02/12/13
