My vcs light and check engine light has come on. O2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1 came up. Where in the world is this senor? I hope it is the O 2 sensor and anot something else.

 

Not 100% on the 2002, but I am thinking its between engine and firewall. $180ish part, tight spot, but doable. What is your exact engine code?

OBDII Code PO135 is indicating O2 sensor circuit malfunction . There are two O2 sensors in the first generation RX300. With both the VSC and CEL indicators on i would check the one located by the catalytic converter.

 

Did you notice anything unusual before the indicator lights illuminated? Rough start or idyling? While you were driving? Did you check fuel cap?

 

I agree...having the code I retract my comment. P1130 is firewall side. P1150 is radiator side.
