Default Adding Heated Seats

My car did not come with heated seats. Does anyone know if that can be added? If so, what does it take to do it?

Thanks

Actually you could add heater seats along with seat massagers. It would require you to take apart your seats and add the pads that go on the seats for it to warm up. You would most likely have to cut out a hole in the inside of your seat to fit the things need to run the seat heater and/or massager. I believe they a some sites that sell these things that you can do yourself or take to a professional and have it done. I dont know the cost or where theyre availible but it can be done.

I asked the dealer in Oregon about this. He said they couldn't install these. But that doesn't mean you couldn't do it yourself.

I also asked about memory seating. They said they couldn't do that either.

But for the right amount of money, I'm sure you could get it done.

I'm pretty happy with the way things are with my RX. I don't miss the heated seats or the memory seating (as I'm no longer married).

Good luck,
Hando
