shifting/ignition key problems
I have a problem that is getting worse. Sometimes the ignition key does not want to come out, I know this is related to the shifter, which also does not want to move out of "park". I'm sure it's an adjustment problem. The shifter gets stiff and last night in "park" the car started backing up. Has anyone else experienced this? and if so what's the fix? I took the center consol apart and examined the shifter linkage but see no visible adjustment. It may be at the trany but as I have never adjusted this type of vehicle I need some advice.
