Default my first rx300

So I bought a salvage title 1999 rx300 with 121k* miles on it a few months ago. I got it for a pretty good deal, 4500$.

I knew it had a weird past but it runs well and has new leather. I got bored last night and decided to run the vin and see what its past was like. Apparently the guy lied to me and switched the gauge cluster, because it used to have 285k miles. The lexus records left of around 103k miles right after the tranny was replaced.

Anybody else have this many miles?
Im kinda suprised this thing runs as well as it does, my old is300 had 160k and ran like new but this is another level!

We just recently had a thread about something just like this, except the RX had near 400k miles, and the ODO read 10Xk mile.

Not surprised it runs well. My uncle has 380k miles on his 99', mostly everything is original, including the engine and transmission. It run's like a champ!

It`s good to know that these new all aluminum motors can get the same millage as the older Toyota motors.
