I would like to replace my 9005 & 9006 globes with an update without using a kit. Any ideas what are the brightest available. Lots of LED replacements on eBay & all advertise as the best.

I'd recommend against LED as your main lights due to the output they currently have. I highly recommend a proper retrofit using a plug n play projector kit like the Morimoto H1 Mini. I've had personal experience with that kit and it is very nice.
