I've still had no luck finding anyone who has installed a comfortable center armrest in the rx300. I know several people who do not like the thin ones attatched to the seat and would prefer to have a large center armrest -- especially when getiing in and out of the car. This is the one thing that keeps this truck from being PERFECT for me. Can anything be done? Thanks!

 

What I was considering is pulling it off and stuffing it with more cushioning material. Anyone know if this can be done easily?

 

That sounds like an interesting idea but I'd probrably screw that up. Besides, I like for that thing to be TWICE as big if possible. Better yet, I'd like an armrest like I've seen installed in some IS 300's. I'd be willing to replace the whole center console unit to fix my armrest issue. With ten's of thousands of RX owners out there I'm sure somebody has found a way! The LX 470 has those same little armrests, but the big, cushioned center console armrest it has in addition to them gives you plenty of support.

 

Its the only thing I have been complained about since leasing mine the end of August. Not only do i find it too small, I also find it too high. I feel like it is jamming my shoulder up into my neck.
Its definitely higher than the left armrest on the door. Wouldnt mind the size if I could lower it 3 inches.
