Default Oil Leakage Problem

Hello there,

I own a RX 330 with 40,000 miles, 2002 model.
There is a oil leakage by the cylinder. Either the cylinder hat or the ceiling.
Do you think this is a common problem?
I'm wondering if this is a problem with the gasket.
If so, does anyone know how much it would cost?

Thanks,
Dave

Need more information. You are evidently speaking a different language than most of us here speak.

Welcome to the Club Dave.

Are you talking about a 2002 RX300, since the RX330 didn't show up until 2004?

Either way, that's not a common problem with gasket leakage.

I would like to know where it's coming from (the rear of the engine or the front).

I am not sure what you are trying to say other than that your engine is leaking. May car had an oil leak from the rear valve cover. I removed the intake manifolds and the throttle body and replaced the gasket. It is pretty simple, also gives you a good chance to see how well you cams are holding up.
