Question Vibration at idle

My one is 2001, I have vibration on steering when waiting at traffic light, goes away when shift in N or P. I had IACV and spark plugs replaced but problem still exist. Something I can't figure out. Idle is around 600rpm in D drive when foot on brake (Is it too low?) and has vibration, if I turn on the park light or A/C and put load on it, idle up to 800rpm and most of the vibration went away (a little vibration still exist). I ask a mechanic and was told engine mount is good, may be something wrong with the manifold / sensor / fuel system. ???? Is there any other sensor on manifold other than IACV that I replaced? I guess that I have to turn on the A/C or park light while driving to ease out the vibration

Idle control is very complex [unlike engines of past which had a set screw].

First, do you have the CEL on?

Next, I would go back and check again if the IACV is nice and clean and the slug can rotate with ease.

Then I would check for vacuum level and check for leaks or disconnected hose.

Check air-filter and the vacuum line going to the box.

Clean the air intake and the diode.

Last item to check would be the plugs. Examine them to see if the combustion is good and use OEM ONLY.

650 is a tad low but is still acceptable (within limits).

With the emission restraints, no one messes with the idle [they can hardly do anything].

Thanks Salim. How to check vaccum level? Things you mention above to check have been done except vaccum level.

I too have the engine idling vibration. Started happening about 2 years ago/70K miles. From what I heard on this forum there is a hydraulic engine mount that can go bad. If it goes bad you get the "buzzing" at engine idling and can feel it in the steering wheel. It goes away if you rev the engine. For my vehicle, it gets less noticeable with the AC on. But its always there.

The idle air control valve in the 1mz-fe tends to get dirty pretty fast. You can use carb cleaner to clean it out. This video shows you how. It's on a Camry, but the engine is more or less the same.
