Exclamation spilled on climate control and temp gauge out

Spilled a drink on the climate control. This made the climate control unresponsive but still functioning. Now I've noticed the temp gauge is out. Is it safe to assume that the temp gauge is fed from the climate control in some way? How about a source on replace/repair of the climate control? Thanks for the help.

Update: After letting it dry out I restarted the car and everything worked. I'm figuring out that a lot of the guages are fed from different components in the car. The speedo is fed fom the Ecu -> from the ABS -> from at least one wheel speed sensor. The Temp Guage is fed from -> the climate control module.
