The left mirror retracts quite frequently (folding forwards) when I turn the ignition on. It will not return to the correct position when I activate the retraction switch, even numerous times. I have to fold it back into position manually. Anyone else have this problem?

 

As far as I know the North America models do not have the folding mirror option.......sorry.

 

Hello All, sorry for digging up this old thread but I am having this exact problem and was wondering if this one was resolved.

 

I heard that it was a faulty "position sensor" in the mirror body. It is not repairable thus the whole unit needs to be replaced!
