Shifting problem

Default Shifting problem

Trans shifts but it takes too long, then in jumps into gear but is not slipping once is going it's okay, MPG is 24.3 so I know trans is not slipping. However is taking too long to shifts gears.

When was the last time the fluid was changed?
I suggest to do a drain and fill, make sure to use toyota type-iv.

HOw many miles? Could be the knock sensor???

The knock sensor will usually throw on a code. Plus, the symptoms don't sound like a knock sensor.

Do you have over drive?
