Default Using the LATCH system for baby seat

From what I am seeing I can only use the LATCH system for the baby seat on either the right side or the left side? I cannot install the car seat in the middle?
Is this right?

That's what I came up with too, left or right only no middle. There is no upper tether mounting spot on the back of the seat in the middle either.

That is exactly what I think the OP meant .. the shoulder portion of the restrain can be used to hold the baby seat from tipping over.

For the middle, I thought Lexus offered a bolt down option [definitely not a std option]. For baby seats with a taller back one can jury rig a restrain to the head rest [dont know how safe or strong it would be, you still have to rely on the lap belt to do most of the work]

Nevermind. the seat has to be rear facing. So no need for Teather latch yet

FYI: Safety 1st ALpha omega car seat in rear facing is a nightmare to install.
Day 2 of installation tomorrow
