I need new tires for my 1999 RX300. I have narrowed the search to the following Michelin: Latitude Tour; LTX M/S2; X Radial LT2. Thoughts? Thanks.

 

I vote for the LTX M/S2's. I have them on my wife's '04 GX and my daughter's '99 RX300. Great warranty, no noise that we notice, great all-weather traction (Iowa). We got one set from Tire Rack, and one set from TireBuyer.com. Significantly cheaper than Costco (which I love!), even after all costs figured in. If I remember correctly, there was no shipping charge with TireBuyer, which saves $15+ per tire. We got a $70 rebate on each set. Check online -- different retailers have the rebates at different times. That's how I found TireBuyer -- Tire Rack's rebate had just ended when it was time for us to buy!

 

The LTX's have served us well. I sure like them. They wear like steel.

 

X3 on the LTX. I don't have them yet, but I'll be getting them soon, and everything I read on them is stellar.
