Kumho Solus KR21. Best ride, traction, handling for the money you can find for the RX.

I have Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza.

They are a lot more expensive than the Kumho Solus product though.

I had Michelin LTX MS2's installed about a year ago. Bought them at tire rack. $70 rebate at the time. Not cheap, but I love them. I considered the Kumho's, also. I've heard they're very good!

Let me speak for Yokohama Avid Envigor. Great handling tire, especially in the rain. Mid range price, available everywhere.

I recently purchased a set of Bridgestone Alenza at Costco for my 2000 RX300. I am extremely pleased with them.

I did some extensive research for my 4Runner just a few weeks ago and I ended up with Pirelli Scorpion ATRs, its a very mild AT tire. You probably want to go with a HT thread on a Lexus, my top choice there was the Michellin Latitude Tour then Bridgestone Alenza. I wasn't happy with my old Mich Cross Terrain (slippery on ice). You probably want a tire with a lot of sipes to aid in traction (specially in winter) that also interlock to help while braking and cornering. HT would yield the most rubber per sq.inch in contact with the road hence better traction/acceleration but AT would have more spaces between the blocks so it won't fill up with snow/slush as fast as a HT thread design but less rubber in contact with the road. I hope I explained that right. Oh yeah the LatTour and Alenza both have 65K mile warranties on them.
