I just bought an 2001 RX300 122k miles. It's having problems with the screen in the center console. It's not the navigation package so it's just plain blue, displaying climate and other information. During normal daylight, it lids up fine. I can adjust the brightness just fine by pressing the brightness adjusting buttons. But when I flick up the headlight, the screen immediately shut off. Any advice is appreciated. thank you.

 

During night time, try adjusting the dial for brightness ... silk-screen image on **** looks like a timer .. between the steering and the driver door.
