Hi folks, I am a newbie to your board. I'm about to order an RX300 equipped as follows and wonder if the price seems right and if there's any options I've left out besides the Gold Pkg. Cost is 750 over invoice per Edmunds et al. Conveyance fee is 225.
Indigo blue/ivory, rear spoiler, heated front seats, nav plus plus pkg, cargo net, accessory crossbars, cargo mat, wheel locks, chrome wheels, tow hitch.
With Destination (545)+ Advertising (446)+Conveyance(225)+ dealer profit(750)
Agreed price is 39877.80 delivered
MSRP 44340.00
What do you folks think?
(My wife feels the gold pkg would clash with the chrome wheels)
The dealer will not change out the the OEM tires for Michelins.
Thoughts? Thanks, Mark

I'd say that's a pretty darn good price, Mark. As for the tow hitch, you may want to ask yourself if you'll ever find yourself using it; otherwise, I'd pass on that. Good choice on leaving out the Gold package. Personally, I think all of that Gold badging makes the car look cheesy. If anything, though, the gold DOES look nicer on white cars.
I'd accept that deal of yours, especially if it's 750 over invoice. What's up with the advertising fee, though? I never got such fee tacked onto either of my purchases. Personally, I think that particular fee, along with the conveyance fee (what the heck is a conveyance fee anyways???) are just a way for the dealership to make back money on the deal they cut you.
Nonetheless, that's a good price for a great car.
