Default Outside Temprature Display

Recently the display for the outside temperature has been changing from Ferinheight to Celsius on its own. I will be Celsius when the vehicle is started in the morning and then later in the day it changes to Ferinheight. Is this an indication of a problem? or a glitch in the system? the Interior temp reading is remaining in Ferinheight throughout the day.

This subject was discussed here years ago. Apparently it is possible, but not easy. Some programmers in Russia (as I recall) were doing the conversion for a fee.
