Does the "door open" indicator on the dash light up? Have you checked the fuses?

You may want to check the door switch and verify its condition and operation.

Great! There is a 3-position switch: On, Off, and Door-open-controlled. Does it light in the On position? It it doesn't work in On position, I'd pop the cover (like to remove bulb), unscrew it, and check to see that you have 12 volts on the wiring.

My RX300 has a different roof layout (no moonroof), so I don't have any light between the 3-way switched light and the map light. If you can measure voltage, I'd remove the light that doesn't work and measure to see whether or not you have 12 volts on the wires. Give the forum a few more days. Additional roof lighting is not an essential function.

I've never seen a RX300 without a moonroof. Can you please post a picture? I'm interested to see how it looks.

Here it is. The "wart" in the middle of the roof is my XM satellite radio antenna.

Thanks...It looks pretty much the same, I think the roof has a more visible slope like this.
