Anyone have the list of 2002 cbest options for the rx?

Some of the C-Best list postings I have seen on here don't seem to include the RX/ES, but they do have programmable options. This webside below had a downloadable file, but it didn't work for me. If it doesn't work for you I think I have that file saved on another comptuer, I can get it and upload it if you want.

This is the same file I found searching the archives here. However, as you noted, I was unable to download it. I sure would appreciate it if you could post it sometime.

This is the one I downloaded from the file in the other thread that no longer works. It doesn't list what options works for which vehicle. I believe all of them work for the LS and GS and most for the RX, but not all.

View in notepad with "word wrap" off.

wat is "C-best" ?

 

They are the programmable options on your Lexus. Things like the loundness of the beep when locking/unlocking, or press unlock on the remote once to unlock all doors, or the delay for the auto headlights. Things like that, there are quite a few. You have to go to the dealer to adjust them via computer

 

C-Best = Customized Body Electronics System

ie, door locks, headlights, windows, etc.

 

they should upgrade from the c-best to the c-better hahah

the c-better needs to have auto roll up windows instead of having to insert your keys and hold for the windows to go up... that would be very good

 

I was hoping I could get some options set to lock the doors when the car is placed in a gear other than park. I saw some of you in the archives have asked their dealers before and got the answer of "no".

Can anyone claim they got their cbest changed to reflect this on their 02 rx?

I've had other c-best ajustments made by the local dealer
however they stated that the RX cannot be re-programmed to
auto-lock/unlock.......only on euro models!
