Homelink problems
My wifes RX has Homelink but it does not work very well. My Nissan Maxima has Homelink and works perfectly. My Nissan I can open the garage door from 80ft away, however the RX will not work from 20ft unless you move the visor in different positions. If the RX is does not have a good line of site it will not work period.
Does this have anything to do with the RX sits a little higher? If the Homelink is the same why then one car works better than the other? I suppose I should call the dealer but I wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem.
Thanks
Jimxo

My GS' homelink has 20-25 feet range about same as yours whereas the factory opener in my other car is good for 50-60 feet. You can improve the range somewhat by straightening or lengthening the antenna in the receiver unit (the motor) since some are curled up. Hope this helps.
