You don't have to purge it out.

Thanks Ron. Now I have Toyota T-IV fluid from the dealer in my tranny. I would like to upgrade to syn AMSOIL or REDLINE D4 ATF. Do I have to flush all fluid once or i could do 4 qrts every 100 miles for 3rd time with filter(Now I have metal filter) & drain? Does the Synthetic AMSOIL ATF and Toyota T-IV fluid coexist ? Any problem! Sorry for too many questions Ron.

You can do it 4 quarts every 100 miles, the fluids can co-exist (that's how I did it the first time I went from Type IV to Amsoil when I got back to the U.S.)
