Default Brighter Headlights

I just recently traded cars with my parents. I gave them my BMW 325i for their RX300. I made the trade due to my son outgrowing his infant car seat and needing to move to a larger one. MY BMW has Xenon headlamps and I loved the way it projected a very bright beam. What is the best and brightest replacement bulb or headlight kit I can buy that will be similar?

Thanks.

Pete

The LS430 and the LS460 projectors fit in the RX300's headlamp housing perfectly.

You can also go with a Bi-Xenon projector so you will have dual high beams, one halogen, and one HID.

There are a lot of options for the RX300, and I'd be willing to help you guys out with anything you'd need.

For as set of projector headlights for the Rx, and this was the only set of projectors headlight for the RX was $500. And since this was the ONLY available one, and I want to just upgrade mine, I wanted to know a simple solution for the majority of us here.

its a shame I cant hack my RX 300's foglight projectors to work as main headlights and shove some good hid's in them. That would be damn sweet, they are tiny projectors though...

$500 for true RX300 hid headlights is a good deal...

Keep us posted

Jealous when I see the bmw's with bi xenon's all driving around lighting up the night like day

waiiittt..here comes a dumb question...
http://www.amazon.com/Hella-OptiLux-.../dp/B000HVX34W
two of those..shoving regular headlight bulbs in them using a dremel tool...wouldn't that...work?....

Im trying to understand why I have to spend $600 on 2 projectors that I have to rip into my own headlamp housings for...

If you are not willing to $$$, just use the 9005 bulb with minor modification on the bulb. It takes less than 3 minutes to modify the bulb. You can see the difference.

dumb question but what modifications to the bulb are you talking about? i just used the sylvania silver star ultra bulbs, they are pretty bright for halogens.
