Unhappy Key remote lock/unlock do not trigger front and back lights.

So i got my O2 sensors checked using diagnostic monitor at an independent shop. And after getting that done i am seeing that my front and back corner yellow lights do not blink when i lock/unlock using the button on my key remote.

I would appreciate if anyone has any clue what may have gone wrong. I wanted to check first on this very helpful forum before calling the mechanic shop.

I think the first thing to try is to disconnect the car battery for maybe 10 minutes, reconnect it, and then see what happens.

Front and back lights have not blinked in my 99 rx300 on remote lock/unlock since the day I got it. Later on I found out it was because front passenger lock was not responding to the lock/unlock signal. The lock was always staying in unlocked position. Once I put it in lock position, the lights started blinking. I have seen some posts here about replacing the lock actuator to fix the problem. So far I havent really gotton a chance and this problem doesnt really bother me. You might wanna check and make sure all your lock are responding to the remote signal.

Default Thanks....

Thanks to everyone..... Yes i found that my driver side lock is not responding to key lock/unlock signal. It always remain in unlocked position...... Once i lock it manually the light flashes...

I am just wondering why everything bad has started showing up with a week of my hitting 100K on my odometer .....
So i need to get the lock actuator to fix this issue... Any pointers on the price of labor (Toyota dealer or independent) and part would help..... or is it a simple DIY...
