Good Code Reader?
I am looking for a code reader that's compatible with a 2001 RX300 (AWD), and one that can also clear the codes. Any suggestions or experiences?
Thanks all!

I bought one from HarborFreight. I can read and clear. It does not monitor params on the fly. Some one posted Costco has one.
Every day new, better and cheaper readers are becoming available. If you can live with codes being read for free, think twice.

another option is to pick up a specific cable to run from your obd II port into you laptop and download one of the many free (or not free) programs out there to interface with your car via computer.
a lot of these these can do more than just clear/read codes

Take a good look on ebay using the words OBD and you will see a ton of scanners under $100 and even under $50. Many of the ones under $100 will read not only the codes but show important information like O2 sensor information, temperatures and a few from what I have seen even read the extra manufactures codes (i.e., the codes that don't begin with P).
I have even seen those cables that UNOHOO mentions, though they also come with the adapter for interfacing between the computer and the OBD2 port.
