at first the passenger windshield wiper only went half way up and down. now it doesnt move at all. i think the motor went on it? is there one motor working both driver and passenger wipers or r there 2 separate motors working each one individually?

ohh and this is on a 2000 rx300

 

maybe its striped,did you check to make sure the bolt is tight? It could also be the linkage,as far as I know its only one motor.

 

One motor it is and there aren't very many things that can cause that. The 1st thing I would look at is the linkage to make sure something hasn't come apart.

 

i had an issue like that with my old bmw, it was one motor and when i opened it up i found that the linkage had straight broken but it would make the wiper move just because the broken parts of the linkage would hit each other and it would make the wiper do erratic things, if i had to guess i would say this is probably your issue
