What help are you looking for.

The factory sub is under the front passenger seat.

Yes the stock sub is under your front passanger seat which is where you tap the speaker wire to run back to a high low converter. I was initially going to DIY my sub install but I called my local shop where I also had work on my IS250 done and charged me about 130 for install, amp wiring kit, and a high low converter. Depending on where you are it might be a little more or less but definately not more then 200 bucks. It will save you alot of time and headache as well as the fact that it will look great.

If I were you I would just call around and get some pricing done. Some shops will even let you bring in your own hi/low converter and wiring kit which would save you alot of cash. The install labor itself at my shop was only 60 plus tax so if I hadnt just bought their wires and converter then it would have been an even better deal.

It really just depends on your budget. What are are you in?

I am assuming your talking about the power outlet in the rear hatch area, I wouldnt tap into that if your amp is high wattage...maybe a powered sub like a kenwood or basslink would be okay with that. Every install ive seen for a decent amp in this or any car has been powered straight to the battery to prevent any electrical issues/fires. You can easily ground back there though...lots of good spots.

dont tap it from there tap it from the stock woofer under the front passanger your talking about the amp under the back passanger seat. I have heard subs sound better off the front passanger and thats also how they did it at my shop. Try searching on here for someone that did the install, your going to have to pass through the fire wall to get the power cable to the battery and then tap into the radio for the remote power cord. Its pretty labor intensive especially if you want all the wires hidden in that car.
