ya......but it not as easy as doing our GS grills. Yours is VERY hard. Took me 5 hours and a buffing wheel.

There is a Harrier Grill on ebay. I emailed the guy and he want's $250 plus shipping. I've bid on it, and am the current high bidder, but I'm not paying that much for it. I know I'm not going to win the bidding.

So, that's another option for a "custom" grill. I really like the harrier on the front

Thanks for the offer Shonuff, do you have any idea how much it would be? I have limited funds so I am picking my mod projects in order of importance to me and the grill is something I can wait on. My wood/leather steering wheel being first

Just the emblem is a good idea, it seems like it would fit in the grill in place of the "L" would it? I know that the size is different from '99-'00 and '01+ (bigger "L") The one I found on ebay looks to be the same size as my 2000.

I'm still working on the wood wheel. All I need is to find a 2001 RX airbag. The one I had was probably a new ES airbag b/c it had too many plugs on the ignitor (2) of the airbag. I only need one plug. I am betting it was Lexus's 2-stage airbag.

I have learned to be very patient

I want the eyebrows and grille, has anyone emailed erebuni and asked. We should do a groupbuy for both, maybe even bigger of a discount?

looks like it would fit in there...the emblem that is. he's supposed to get back with me by friday.

so the 2002 es airbag won't work on a 99 rx? i picked one up for 65$.....the price was right so i bought it thinking it might work.

No, the 2002 ES airbag won't work b/c it uses a dual stage ignitor and the RX still has a single stage airbag. Check out my thread from a little while ago here

The first picture is the airbag I bought, the second is the original for my 2000 RX. The one I bought was labeled 2002 ES/RX airbag on ebay, but it was for the ES.

I'm now looking for a 2001 RX airbag to complete my project.
