I think all SS grills are silver so you would have to paint it if you want it another color. It looks good on the all silver and all black, but I don't know how it would look on another RX (2-tone). Depends on what color you choose to paint it.

Actually, now that I look at the coach edition on lexus.com, I would say to paint the outer rim of the grill body colored, and leave the center silver. Looks goods.

where would I get the paint from?.

I only need a very small amount. Would I also need the clearcoat because I had a chip on my door and Lexus gave me a small bottle of paint and a bottle of clearcoat.

 

I wouldn't paint it myself, but have it done by the dealer or some body shop. Just be sure to have the paint code for your RX.

 

Yeah, have some shop do it for you... The paintcode is inside the drivers door on the sticker... It will say "CO" for color....

 

check out the grille on Erebunis website, that looks alright its only 214. I have the stock plain grille. A guy 30 minutes from me chromes car parts and said that he would chrome my stock grille for 60 bucks. but it would be too flashy cause nothing else is chrome.

**ANYONE know where to get two SS pearled "L" emblems for the back of my RX and the grille. I want to. Anyone know??

 

I saw that two line grill like i had previously attached. Its $214 but if we get the president of Club lexus to e-mail them and tell them to give is club discount 20% off ($42)making the grill roughly 172 bucks. Anyone in? post replies, please

i got a guy here that will mold them and sell them for like 40$ .........vacum formed abs plastic. need to get a set of the eyelids for him to take the mold off of though......wanna take up a donation?

he done some stuff for me on my dash.....just finishing up the final touches and will post a pic of the lcd and stereo intsall.

also he can do the center console thing like the clarion model......dunno if anyone is interested.
