Lightbulb Over Invoice

I come to visit you from Clubb5.com to ask your forum a question. Sorry if this is a repeated question, but my friend is about to purchase a RX300 and I was curious as to what kind of a markup over invoice lexus dealerships usually command?? I did a search but I would guess that each different Lexus Model would command a different amount over invoice.

possibly if you could post how much over invoice or under MSRP you purchased for that would help.
BTW- I am in the Bay Area California and if you have any recommendations on where to purchase or who to deal with that would be appreciated as well.

Thanks to all.
Regards

dave

Default Here in the Los Angeles area......

.........you can get an RX 300 without Navigation system for as little as $200 over invoice (as these are more readily available). However for one with the Navigation system package it can still be had for as low as $500 over invoice......shouldn't be much different in the Bay area

If the dealers don't come close to the above mentioned price, try an internet service like www.carsos.com ........they'll get you the RX for the above mentioned price or maybe even lower!!.....they charge $200 for their service

When we bought our RX in December we paid $800 over invoice. It was that high because we were particular about the color (inside and out) and the package (Nav with AWD). We started with Steven's Creek Lexus, but felt we were being screwed on the vehicle (not the price), so we went with Putnam Lexus in Redwood City. Very good buying experience, I wouldn't say excellent. But post-sales experience has been outstanding.

If you need more info, let me know.
