Default Question on pricing on rx400h

I've searched, not sure if it's against the rules, but I am curious what sort of deals are available on the '07 400h.

I've been shopping around and the dealers in my area seem to not need the business very badly, and this seems reflected in the prices. They have to pay for the wood paneled, mood-lighted, wifi customer lounge somehow...

On my car purchases I've typically paid invoice to a few hundred over invoice, never MSRP or anywhere close on a dozen or so cars (usually in-demand, luxury imports) over my lifetime. I'm often surprised how many folks aren't working up from invoice, caught in new car lust of the moment.

If anyone could share their buying experiences I would appreciate it. I have never purchased a Lexus before, but there is always a first time Thanks for your input.

Well you are in luck, wished I knew about it before I bought my Lexus. Look for "A taste of Lexus" in your area, I believe you can get a $750 coupon for your Lexus purchase. Second check to see if you get any point from Lexus credit card, a few month ago a 50K point were awarded if you purchase a Lexus. And lastly, I think a "December to Remember" event is happening , should be some great deals on Lexus right now. I'm in CA so the prices are lower...good luck in TX

Look at carsdirect.com and if you belong to costco...go to costcoauto.com

i posted this story in another thread, but here's a quickie:
i live in socal, got an rx400h from lexus of riverside for $43,000 minus taste of lexus $750 coupon plus tax and licensing, for a total of $46,100. MSRP is $48,306, this is an FWD black on black w/ nav, premium plus, 18", roof rack, and wood trim. i used cars and edmunds.com to send leads to the local lexus dealerships, and pretty much picked the lowest one (lexus mission viejo at $43,714) and was gonna negotiate with them until riverside contacted me and offered me $44,100. i told riverside "do it for $43,000 and i'm in" and they said yes, and then at the tail end of the talks i told them i got another $750 off coupon from taste of lexus.
YMMV in other parts of the region, but the quotes i got from cars and edmunds leads were all around $43700-45000 for an MSRP of $48,306.

Wanted to note this as I'm working on making a deal ...

I noticed that if you look at the optional Navigation/Mark Levinson package and compare it to adding the Levinson and Navigation separately, it appears Lexus charges $500 more ... that is the Nav/ML package is $500 more than just adding the ML and Nav separately.

Did I make that confusing enough?

Since the "taste of lexus" event was two months ago, any ideas where I might be able to get a hold of a $750 coupon?

Anyone have one out there and not going to buy a lexus in the forseeable future?

the coupons are printed with the recipients name on them, i doubt they are transferable. if you attended the event and havent received one by now, chances are you wont get one. i would suggest calling lexus customer service to see if they can help - 800-255-3987
