Spinteews,

I am very sorry to hear about the vandalism. What I am curious is all these similar incidents of vandalism, do they occur at the same location? Is it a common garage or same parking area? If it is, seems like most likely the culprit(s) could be the same person(s). And I'm afraid someone doesn't like you, so they acted cowardly and vandalize your car.

If you live in a apartment complex where the parking area or garage is common area, you might want to push the property manager to increase security, 'cause this is obviously not a random target. Perhaps you might have unintentionally offended other people (whether complex residence or complete stranger), and they know where you park your car...

File a police report, claim to your insurance, and make sure your insurance handles this claim as your comprehensive section, so your rate won't go up and won't affect your record.

Hope you'll get your car back fixed very soon...

-Hendry

Dahm spinteews, sorry to hear that. In my experince touch-up paint is worthless. It stands out so much - if the scratch wasn't too deep you could use some sort of buffing compound to at least make it less noticeable. Then, polish, polish, polish.

Stupid inconsiderate freaks!

I was going to tell spin to buff it but he says it's deep. Get it blended by a body shop... But it will cost a few Hundred..

My RX got keyed but it was the lightest scratch ever. It was about 2 feet long on the hood, after I got it detailed and waxed it went away. It was so light that you had to put your head less than a foot away to see. The kid that did it was someone from my school and yes, I did find out who it was and I know he wont do it again...I will be at the CL meet down in Fontana on the 23rd. Its pretty much not visible, you guys can look and see if there is still any key marks.

My neighbors Camaro got keyed, she left it at work overnight. The key scratch was 4 feet long on the hood, and they put all these X's on the door sides. It turned out to be this guy that wanted to date her, but she didnt want to. He payed to fix it.......stupid people.
